Our client is a dynamic company situated at Schiphol.
Job Description
- To demonstrate excellent skills in operational shipment processing and communication with customers, gateways, international airfreight service centers and other departments
- To maintain a high standard of operational and administrative accuracy, against the companies standard procedures, while maintaining the required levels of customer service and meeting service center objectives
- To be a motivated and enthusiastic member of the Airfreight Operations team
- Receipt of pick-up requests from customers
- Check on account information (account number, status, credit, pricing, operational requirements, known/unknown shipper, etc.)
- Advise customer on opportunities, requirements, limitations in regards to their shipment request
- Arrange standard or special pick-up, based on customer request
- Gather and check on export documentation (invoice, packing list, any other required certificates or documentation)
Job Requirements
- MBO level
- Working experience in Airfreight industry is preferred, but not mandatory
- Able to work with personal computers, good understanding of MS Office
- Good communication skills with fluent English and Dutch speech and writing
- Able to work under pressure and willing to work in shifts and incidentally during weekends
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience in a logistic environment is a must
Salary and Benefits
Salary depends on age and experience.
